A machiya townhouse renovated from a gold-leaf merchant's house built in Meiji 43 (1910), nostalgic yet new, comfortable and calm. While thinking of those who came before, please fully enjoy the machiya's distinctive atmosphere — a little inconvenient in the old-fashioned way, yet stirring the senses.

This traditional Japanese house was renovated in 2017 and has been transformed into a beautiful lodging facility. You can enjoy a luxurious stay while gazing out at a quintessentially Japanese garden from the “Akabeki-no-Ma” room, a feature unique to Kanazawa. Our hotel is located in the heart of Wajima City, just a 5-minute walk from the “Flatt Houmu” Roadside Station and the morning market. We serve our signature Wajima blowfish dishes year-round.
