Higashiyama Chaya District, one of Kanazawa’s most iconic tourist destinations. Located at just the right distance from the hustle and bustle of the city, “Kagerohi” carries on the traditional atmosphere of Kanazawa that has endured since the Showa era. On the first floor, the exterior features a lower wall finished with a serpentine-patterned wash and delicate latticework. The second floor features wooden doors and windows with a single vertical slat. The building exudes a calm, understated presence.
